Hi, I’m Gayle, Executive & Career Coach and Founder of Boost Up.

Since we are our stories, I am sharing mine.

After getting my MBA degree and graduating from ESSEC -Paris, I believed that I knew exactly what I wanted my career to look like.

 

I got into banking and started working in major cities such as Paris and London, then finally went back to work in my hometown, Beirut. Despite the fact that I used to work for long hours, I was focused and had a tunnel vision of what I wanted.

 

My main efforts were to maintain the life that I had designed for myself because at the time, I found my experience as a banker to be very enriching. I collaborated with top management, different departments, external stakeholders, as well as international organizations. I was working on diverse missions with different teams which allowed me to keep learning and growing. I even developed the first program dedicated to the financial empowerment of women in the Middle East, a project I am most proud of.

 

In the meantime, I fell in love, got married and had my first beautiful baby boy. That is when things started to shift and I started feeling that my job in banking was lacking meaning and purpose. I was becoming decreasingly happy at work.

This made me realize that many of my clients and co-workers were unsatisfied by the work/life they found themselves in and needed support in their career! I knew then that I was also one of them.

 

At this same moment, I was reaching a turning point in my work/life which made me reconsider my career objectives. I wanted to make a difference and find a job with a purpose, a purpose that would be whole heartedly mine, and that I would be passionate about. I wanted a job that would allow me to work on my own terms, with the flexibility I needed.

 

 

I was at a crossroad and had a difficult decision to make. After having spent so many years in banking, I thought I wouldn’t know how to do anything else. It literally felt like jumping off the roof! For a while, I kept on having the same recurrent dream (or nightmare), of going to my old workplace each morning.

 

After a lot of research, I found my calling: Career Coaching, a profession that perfectly responded to my aspirations. As soon as I had come to that realization, I resigned and completely shifted by enrolling to the coaching certification program.

 

I sometimes doubted my choices, but deep inside I knew that it was the best decision I had ever made. I made the leap, and finally regained control over my career and my life. I became a certified Coach, and an Accredited Member of the ICF.

  • Soon after, my husband and I welcomed our second handsome baby boy into our happy family. Today, I live in Luxembourg - a cosmopolitan city in the heart of Europe and my career fits my life perfectly. I have achieved the balance that I was seeking, and I feel so grateful.

     

    My mission is to help ambitious career-minded people connect with their better selves, reach their full potential, and achieve meaningful goals faster while having a balanced, happy, and productive life.

     

    My goal now, is to help you and other wonderful people do the same; take charge of your career and redesign it your way to achieve the success you have always sought!

     

    I deeply believe in the power of coaching because I have witnessed the great outcomes it has had on me, my clients, as well as other peer coaches.

    I become your confidant and your trusted adviser. My job is to assist you to get clarity, take action, and redesign your work/life on your own terms. I partner with you to help you reach your goals as quickly as possible. I am result driven and I work with you on realistic, measurable, and sustainable goals. I make sure you achieve the results you seek in order for you to love your work/life.

     

    I am dedicated to self-development and have been pursuing my own personal growth continuously. I believe that there is always room for improvement. It is when you gain awareness and commit to your journey that you allow for change to happen!
